'Run For The Heart 2025': Every step of the community is a revived heartbeat

On August 28, in Ho Chi Minh City, the announcement ceremony of the "Run For The Heart - Run For The Heart 2025" race took place. The program aims to raise funds for heart surgery for poor children with congenital heart disease across the country.

This year, with the humane message "Together with you, sharing the rhythm of love," Run for the Heart 2025 enters its 11th season - a special milestone, affirming a journey of more than a decade of sowing hope and reviving life for thousands of young hearts.

This is not just a call for the community to run together for health, but also a journey of giving love, where every step of the participants becomes a bridge to life, so that children can continue to dream and grow up like their peers.

Behind the innocent smiles of children with congenital heart disease lies a journey of battling pain and uncertainty about the future. Many families face dire circumstances when the cost of surgery far exceeds their means. It is in these situations that "Run for the Heart" becomes a pillar of support, a bridge connecting millions of compassionate hearts, to give these children a precious chance at a new life.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Khanh, representative of the organizing unit, shared: “Every year, through each run, we witness miracles. We are proud to accompany thousands of compassionate hearts, sowing seeds of hope and writing a new future for children who need saving.”

Established in 2013, "Run for the Heart" has become one of the leading charitable activities in the field of community sports , attracting thousands of participants each year. Through each season, the program not only connects thousands of hearts but also provides new opportunities for children with congenital heart disease. To date, the program has raised over 46 billion VND and supported 1716 successful surgeries.

In 2025, the race aims to raise 5 billion VND, equivalent to approximately 140 heart surgeries for underprivileged children. The event is expected to attract more than 5,000 participants from many provinces and cities across the country.
