Sharing knowledge about green and circular agriculture

Director of Kenh 7B Agricultural Cooperative ( Tan Hiep district) Vo Minh Chieu informed about the implementation of the "1 must, 6 reduction" rice production process at the cooperative recently.

Director of the Vietnam Rural Industries Research and Development Institute Nguyen Bao Thoa introduced the program for developing women-owned eco-equitable businesses in the field of green and circular agriculture in Vietnam. Experts shared information on efficient use of energy and resources; knowledge about sustainability certification; knowledge about carbon credits.

The Vietnam Farmers Support Center and the Vietnam Institute for Industry Research and Development conducted a survey through questionnaires on models and projects in the field of green and circular agriculture that businesses, cooperatives, and cooperative groups in Kien Giang are implementing. This will be the basis for the unit to select for continued investment in the future.

50 leaders of enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative groups with many female workers in Kien Giang province attended the knowledge sharing session on green and circular agriculture above.
