Chibooks donated more than 1,000 books to students of Vietnam - USA College

On April 10, Chi Culture Joint Stock Company (Chibooks) and the Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City donated 1,030 books worth nearly VND167 million to the Vietnam-USA College.

The program aims to spread reading culture to lecturers, students and the community, and at the same time contribute to building a source of documents for research, study and entertainment in many genres: literature, culture, economics, education, life, textbooks...

Attending the program were Mr. Tu Chau, Deputy Consul General of China in Ho Chi Minh City and Ms. Lieu Vu Ha, Consular Attaché.

In order to spread the reading culture to the student community as well as contribute to building a source of documents for research, study, entertainment, etc., Chibooks has been building 300 free library bookcases for primary, secondary, high schools and colleges and universities in the 5-year period (2020-2025).

The “Spreading Love” bookshelf contributes to building a source of documents to serve the research, teaching, learning and entertainment needs of officials, employees and students of the Vietnam - USA College.

Ms. Nguyen Le Chi, Director of Chibooks, shared the reason for donating the “Spreading Love” bookshelf to students of Vietnam - USA College: “We hope to contribute to helping students love reading more, encourage students to go to the school library, seek new knowledge and increase their passion for exploring and learning about the world.”

In addition, according to Ms. Nguyen Le Chi, in the coming time, Chibooks will introduce authors to exchange and share with students about reading culture in various fields, especially culture - literature, contributing to nurturing the spiritual life of students. Chibooks also has long-term and effective cooperation plans with the school in teaching Chinese and sending students to study abroad in many diverse majors in the Chinese market.

In addition to the Vietnam-USA College, in 2024 alone, Chibooks signed cooperation agreements with more than 20 colleges and universities in the country, and donated many "Spreading Love" bookcases with 12,525 books to libraries at home and abroad, with a total value of nearly 1.7 billion VND.
