Strategy to promote sustainable industrial development

Delegates performed the opening ceremony of "Southeast Region Research and Innovation Day".

In his opening speech, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ky Phung, Head of the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park, said that the event is not only a strategic orientation, but also an inevitable requirement, of decisive significance for the sustainable development of Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park in particular and the Vietnamese economy in general.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, emphasized that this is an event of special significance, not only marking the 23-year journey of formation and development of the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park, but also an important international forum to discuss, share and orient for a sustainable development future.

In the context of globalization and the 4.0 industrial revolution, digital transformation and green transformation have become two parallel pillars, shaping the competitiveness of each country and each city.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tho requested that the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park listen to and fully absorb the enthusiastic opinions, initiatives and recommendations of experts and scientists at the conference.

On that basis, proactively advise the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to effectively implement the Dual Transformation Project: Digital transformation, green transformation so that the High-Tech Park can move towards the first Netzero model in the country.
