The conference noted the opinions of experts on key technologies that will help Vietnam build a low-carbon, sustainable industrial base and promote a dual transformation (digital transformation and green transformation).

In his opening remarks at the conference, Professor Dr. Nguyen Ky Phung, Head of the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park, expressed his hope that the conference would spread the spirit of innovation; connect intellectual resources from domestic and international partners, thereby transforming challenges into opportunities and building the High-Tech Park into a model of sustainable development.

At the conference, speakers discussed and shared strategic technological solutions in the fields of renewable energy, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, new materials, green finance, and circular economy … These are key pillars that will help Vietnam build a low-carbon industry, achieve sustainable development, and integrate globally.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tho emphasized: "The application of digital technology , artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and green solutions will promote sustainable industrial development, build renewable energy infrastructure, manage waste effectively, and move towards a circular economy."
Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tho requested the Management Board of the High-Tech Park to incorporate the opinions and initiatives of experts and scientists ; proactively advise the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on effectively implementing the dual transformation project, aiming to build the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park into the first Net Zero model in the country.

Alongside the conference was an exhibition featuring 60 booths from businesses, institutes, schools, and innovation centers in the fields of education, biotechnology, stem cells, and more.
Also within the framework of the event, the "Innovative Ideas Competition for Universities in the Southeast Region" was held, with 70 teams from 13 universities participating.
On the same day, the Ho Chi Minh City Biotechnology Center signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Institute of Life Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology) and the Fisheries Research Institute II. The cooperation aims to form a network for research, incubation, and commercialization of biotechnology.

According to Professor Nguyen Van Phuoc, Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Ho Chi Minh City, the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park plays a crucial role in guiding the dual transformation. He stated that the high-tech park is undergoing a strong transformation into a smart industrial park thanks to its focus on digitalization, greening, and the application of AI and IoT technologies, helping to reduce energy and raw materials consumption by 20%-30%; 50% of electricity used is solar energy; about 70% of wastewater is reused, while simultaneously reducing greenhouse gas emissions, noise, and dust.
