EngineAI unveiled the T800 combat robot at the 2025 World Robot Conference in Beijing. The promotional video was impressive, but netizens suspect it was just CGI.
To prove his point, CEO Zhao Tongyang donned protective gear and let the T800 rocket crash to the ground. The scene went viral, but some still believe the incident was staged.
EngineAI later released behind-the-scenes video, confirming that the robot's movements were completely realistic. The company also revealed a "Robot Boxer" event on December 24th featuring a high-intensity performance.
The T800 is 173 cm tall, weighs 75 kg, has 29 degrees of freedom, and a joint torque of 450 Nm. The robot is now available for pre-order starting at $25,000, promising to become a global sensation.
