ĐNO - To celebrate the 165th anniversary of Da Nang's resistance against the French (1858-2023); the 77th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2, the city's Cultural - Cinema Center will organize a commemorative film week to review the early history of the resistance against the French of the Vietnamese people in general and Da Nang city in particular.
The film week will introduce to the audience 5 films, including: "Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh era - Desire, independence, freedom", "Han wave", "Two years later I will return", "Behind the war" and "Thau Chin in Siam".
These are films about the history of revolutionary struggles, heroes during the resistance period, exchanging pain and loss to gain victory and peace today; affirming the position, great stature and great historical value of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
The films are shown for free at Le Do Cinema (46 Tran Phu, Hai Chau District) at 7 p.m. every day from August 28 to September 2.
