The government provides more than 668 tons of national reserve rice to support people in 3 provinces.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc has just signed Decision No. 913/QD-TTg on providing rice from the national reserve to localities during the crop gap in early 2025.

According to the Decision, the Ministry of Finance will issue 668,505 tons of rice from the national reserve to localities to support people during the crop shortage in early 2025, specifically: Ha Giang province 305,565 tons of rice; Tuyen Quang province 191,925 tons of rice; Bac Kan province 171,015 tons of rice.

The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health shall handle specifically according to regulations; according to assigned functions and tasks, they shall be responsible for the basis, information, and reporting data.

The People's Committees of Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang and Bac Kan provinces are responsible for the accuracy of reported data and provide timely support to the right subjects and at the right rates according to regulations.

This Decision comes into force from May 13, 2025.
