Announcing the 10th grade entrance exam scores of HCMC 2024
On the morning of June 19, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced the 10th grade entrance exam scores for the 2024-2025 school year.
Candidates and parents can access the link to look up the 2024 Ho Chi Minh City 10th grade exam scores HERE.
After knowing the exam scores, from June 21 to 24, candidates can submit an application for review. The review will be completed before June 30.

It is expected that at 4:00 p.m. on June 24, the Department of Education and Training will announce the benchmark scores for specialized, integrated, and direct admission 10th grade.
From June 25 to 4:00 p.m. on June 29, candidates admitted to specialized classes, integrated classes, and direct admission must submit their admission applications to the school they were admitted to. Candidates who do not submit their admission applications will have their names removed from the admission list.
On July 5, specialized and integrated high schools will organize to receive additional admitted candidates after the review.
It is expected that on July 10, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will announce the 10th grade benchmark scores and the list of candidates admitted to 10th grade for the 2024-2025 school year.
In 2024, Ho Chi Minh City has 98,681 candidates registered for the 10th grade entrance exam. The total enrollment target for public high schools is more than 77,300 candidates.
Previously, according to information from the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the score distribution of the Math subject in the 10th grade entrance exam was very well differentiated.
Accordingly, the exam had about 7,000 candidates scoring 5 points; 49 candidates scoring 10 points; 31 candidates scoring 9.75 points; 132 candidates scoring 9.5 points; 123 candidates scoring 9.25 points. The number of candidates scoring from 8 to 9 points was quite large, about 2,000 candidates.

The 10th grade entrance exam will take place on June 6-7, with candidates taking three subjects: Math, Literature (120 minutes) and Foreign Language (90 minutes). Candidates registering for specialized classes will have to take the corresponding additional test within 150 minutes.
Of which, 98,418 candidates took the Literature exam, 263 were absent. 98,375 candidates took the Foreign Language exam, 306 were absent. 98,361 candidates took the Math exam, 320 were absent. 7,574 candidates took the specialized exam, 50 were absent.
