The 110kV Station is designed as a semi-outdoor 110/22kV power supply with 2 transformers, each with a capacity of 40MVA, and in phase 1, the station is installed with 1 transformer. The branch is designed as a 110kV line with 2 circuits, a 110kV Phuoc Long - Vedan 2 transmission line transition tower, located in Phu Rieng commune, Dong Nai province.
The investment project of Phu Rieng 110kV Transformer Station and connecting branch has a total investment capital of more than 88 billion VND, capital sourced from Southern Power Corporation.

The project, when put into operation, will meet the electricity supply needs of 4 communes of Phu Rieng, Phu Trung, Binh Tan, Long Ha and neighboring areas; at the same time, support the 110kV Phuoc Long and Dong Xoai transformer stations in case of incidents. Thereby, contributing to improving voltage quality, reducing power and power losses on the regional distribution grid.

The project was successfully energized at 8:30 p.m. on September 14. The safe operation of the Phu Rieng Transformer Station system will promote the attraction of investors and businesses to the North Dong Nai area; at the same time, ensure safe, stable and continuous power supply to serve the production, business and daily life of people and businesses.
