The bustling atmosphere, laughter and crisp sunlight make the spring atmosphere in Hanoi more joyful than ever. No more traffic jams, no more loud car horns, families in Hanoi choose to welcome spring together gently with beautiful photos.
The first two days of the year, Hanoi's weather was still cold but sunny. Around 9am, the sun rose, the cold was only a little bit gone, ideal for the first spring trip of the year.
Along the road around Hoan Kiem Lake , groups of families were standing and posing. One person took a picture for another, sometimes they asked other families to take a picture of the whole family. Everyone was happy.

Although Hoan Kiem Lake is the family's first spring outing every year, for Ms. Minh Ngoc (Hoang Mai district, Hanoi), no two photos are alike.
"A year has passed, and family members have changed more or less. The children have grown up, and the parents have aged a little.
My family wants to have a family photo every year in the exact position opposite the Turtle Tower, so that we can look at it later and remember the beautiful moments of the past. The photo not only preserves the moment but also encapsulates the emotions of our family," Ngoc confided.
Today, the five members of her family will walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, then go to the old town and enjoy some leisure time to enjoy a cup of coffee to start the new year.

Hai Anh (Ba Dinh district, Hanoi) said that after the first day of Tet , she spent it with her parents, on the second day of Tet, she chose to go out with her friends. With two close friends wearing Ao Dai, the young people made a list of the most beautiful places to check in in the old town.
"Hanoi is always crowded and bustling, especially in the Old Quarter, but during Tet Hanoi is different, somewhat gentler and quieter.
I really like taking photos with the typical Hanoi style in the old quarter, it could be the door of an old house, the corner of Dong Xuan market or Ta Hien street full of flags and flowers," Hai Anh said.
In the area around Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter, many restaurants and cafes are also open during Tet to serve locals and tourists.
