Chairman of Hai Son Company replaces Mr. Vo Quoc Thang as Chairman of Long An Provincial Business Association

On the afternoon of September 26, Long An Provincial Business Association held the 4th congress, term 2024 - 2029.

Currently, Long An has more than 17,400 enterprises with a total capital of over 379,000 billion VND. Of which, there are more than 2,200 DDI projects with a registered capital of over 300,000 billion VND.

With a membership development policy focusing on depth and quality, the LBA Executive Committee has 66 members, operating under the motto of sustainable development of the business community and entrepreneurs of Long An province.

After 5 years of operation since the 3rd congress, the association has developed more than 300 members including official members, associate members, and member associations, actively working in many different industries in the province.

In the 2019 - 2024 term, LBA connected more than 300 members. The previous term report showed that the association has made many contributions to the development of the business community with many support programs, connecting businesses, especially contributing a strong voice to remove difficulties for businesses.

In addition, the association continuously organizes and strengthens connections to exploit the strengths of member businesses, promptly receives difficulties and problems of members to have appropriate recommendations...

Through propaganda and mobilization activities and directly from operating funds, the association has actively contributed over 21 billion VND to social security activities in the province. In addition, member businesses have directly contributed hundreds of billions of VND to charity work, for the community in Long An province in particular and the whole country in general over the past 5 years.

At this congress, Mr. Trinh Van Hai - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hai Son Company - was elected Chairman of the Long An Provincial Business Association for the 4th term, 2024 - 2029, replacing Mr. Vo Quoc Thang.

The congress unanimously elected a new executive committee of 62 members. The vice presidents for the 4th term, 2024 - 2029, include 14 members.

The Congress also elected Mr. Nguyen Van Ut - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Long An province - as honorary chairman of the Long An Provincial Business Association, term III, 2019 - 2024.

Mr. Vo Quoc Thang - Chairman of the Long An Provincial Business Association, term III, 2019 - 2024 - continues his role as a member of the VCCI Executive Committee and Chairman of the Council of Business Associations of the Mekong Delta, supporting activities in connecting 13 provinces of the Mekong Delta through gathering opinions of businesses to create a favorable business environment for the development of the Mekong Delta.
