National Assembly Chairman attends National Great Unity Day in Ha Nam province

(Dan Tri) - On November 10, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended the National Great Unity Day and talked with people of Loi village, Thanh Huong commune, Thanh Liem district, Ha Nam province.

At the festival, delegates reviewed the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024) and the National Great Unity Day in residential areas. They emphasized the position, role and importance of the Vietnam Fatherland Front throughout the historical process of the revolution and in building the great national unity bloc.

Implementing the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" associated with the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", cadres, party members and all people in Loi village have joined hands and hearts to care for the development of the economy, culture and society.

Thanks to that, the lives of people in Loi village are increasingly improved and enhanced. The number of poor and near-poor households has decreased, while the number of well-off and rich households has increased. Political security and social order remain stable.

In 2024, the average income per capita in Loi village is estimated to reach 75 million VND. The poverty rate has decreased to less than 1%. On average, each year, about 98% of households in the village achieve the title of "Cultural Family".

Talking with officials and people of Loi village, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man expressed his joy at attending the National Great Unity Day with the people of Loi village.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the National Assembly Chairman acknowledged and commended the results that Loi village, Thanh Huong commune, Thanh Liem district and Ha Nam province have achieved in the recent past.

The National Assembly Chairman hopes that people of all walks of life will have absolute trust in the Party's leadership, join hands and wholeheartedly respond to the patriotic emulation movements launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The National Assembly Chairman emphasized that the Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front of Ha Nam province and the people of Loi village continue to compete and strive to fulfill at the highest level the goals and targets of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and the goals set by Thanh Liem district and Thanh Huong commune.

The National Assembly Chairman suggested that Ha Nam province take the lead in mobilizing the entire population to practice thrift and fight waste in accordance with the direction of General Secretary To Lam.

Regarding the residential area of Loi village, the National Assembly Chairman hopes that the people in the village will continue to unite, strengthen village and neighborhood ties, share, support and help each other to perform well a number of key tasks...

The National Assembly Chairman affirmed that if the country is to become rich and strong, the province, district, commune, residential area and each family must be rich and strong. The National Assembly Chairman believes that the people of Loi village will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity and determination to build Thanh Huong commune to become increasingly rich, civilized and modern, contributing to making Thanh Liem district a town before 2030.

At the festival, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and leaders of Ha Nam province presented gifts to the collective and some households in the village.
