On the afternoon of November 7, the Ministry of Justice held a ceremony to respond to the Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2025.
The ceremony was held on a national scale, online at 34 provincial and municipal points, and livestreamed on the National Law Portal at phapluat.gov.vn.

Speaking at the ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man highly appreciated and acknowledged the results achieved by the judiciary in law-making and enforcement in recent times.
In the coming time, the National Assembly Chairman suggested that it is necessary to continue focusing on propagating and disseminating the serious implementation of Resolution 66 of the Politburo on innovating the work of building and enforcing laws to meet the requirements of national development in the new era and Resolution 197 of the National Assembly on a number of special mechanisms and policies to create breakthroughs in building and organizing the enforcement of laws.
In particular, it is necessary to carry out the direction of General Secretary To Lam, turning the legal system into a competitive advantage, and building laws is considered a breakthrough of breakthroughs.
Along with that, it is necessary to soon issue detailed documents guiding the implementation of the law. According to the National Assembly Chairman, the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly will pass about 49 draft laws, so decrees and guiding circulars must be issued soon.
"Avoid the situation where the law waits for a decree, the decree is issued but the circular cannot keep up," the National Assembly Chairman emphasized.
The National Assembly Chairman also requested the Ministry of Justice to continue promoting the National Legal Portal to serve people and businesses more conveniently and easily; promote digital transformation, digitization, and application of artificial intelligence in the work of propagating, disseminating, and educating the law.
At the same time, we must pay attention to the quality of laws submitted by ministries and branches to the Government when they are reviewed by the Ministry of Justice. We must improve the quality so that the laws promulgated will have a long life.
The National Assembly Chairman further noted that each officer in the legal sector, cadres, civil servants and public employees must be proactive and self-conscious in studying, researching, understanding the law and complying with the law. Each citizen must be more proactive in approaching, researching and understanding the law for their own legitimate rights and for the life of the community.
