Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan listened to the local report on the implementation of site clearance for the coastal road in the eastern part of Dak Lak province.

According to the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects in the Eastern Region of the province, the coastal road in the Eastern Region of Dak Lak province is 21.6km long, connecting Tuy Hoa ward and the communes of Tuy An Nam, O Loan and Tuy An Dong. The roadbed is 42m wide, with the section from Km6 to Km10+800 having a roadbed width of 52m. Along the route, two bridges across the river (An Hai bridge and Dong Nai bridge) have been built. Up to now, the localities have handed over about 50% of the construction site, which has not met the set plan. The construction units have focused on implementing the construction, paving about 2km of asphalt and completing about 5km of roadbed and foundation.

After completion, the project will create favorable travel conditions for people in the area and create momentum for economic development in the eastern part of the province, especially the marine economy and traffic connection with Khanh Hoa and Gia Lai provinces, creating a new development space, contributing to promoting local socio-economic and tourism development.

After directly inspecting the entire route, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan requested localities and land fund development centers to complete site clearance work and hand it over to investors and construction units to implement the project. In particular, for agricultural land areas, localities must hand over before August 15, and complete all site clearance in September. As for resettlement areas, localities must complete in October for people to receive. At the same time, units need to step up propaganda and mobilization work to raise awareness and create consensus among people during the project implementation process.

The coastal road in the eastern part of Dak Lak province is being vigorously implemented.

Regarding the handed-over site, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the construction units to speed up the progress; focus on human resources, equipment, and take advantage of favorable weather to implement. The investor monitors the progress of the project, and during the project implementation, must ensure quality, labor safety, and aesthetics of the project.
