According to the investigation results, the buffet meal at the above restaurant started from 5-8 pm on June 2, with 170 people eating. At 7 am on June 3, the first case was hospitalized, and at 1:30 pm on the same day, the last case was hospitalized. A total of 7 people were hospitalized with symptoms: severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Dong Hoa Town Medical Center treated the symptoms, but could not obtain samples for testing to find the cause of the poisoning. None of the cases were serious. By 5:30 p.m. on June 6, the 7 cases mentioned above were in stable health and discharged from the hospital.

At the time of investigation, no food samples were collected because it had been 2 days since the discovery, so the facility no longer had food samples or related ingredients.

According to Official Dispatch No. 261 dated June 6 of Dong Hoa Town Medical Center on reporting the completion of treatment of suspected food poisoning cases, the center diagnosed 7 cases of treatment and discharge with the following disease codes: Gastroenteritis and colitis due to infection and the source of infection is unknown; irritable bowel syndrome, with diarrhea; nausea and vomiting.

Based on the above investigation and epidemiological analysis, there is not enough basis to conclude that this is a food poisoning case.

Previously, on the morning of June 4, after receiving information that 7 patients were being treated for suspected food poisoning at Dong Hoa Town Medical Center, the Department of Health coordinated with the Provincial Center for Disease Control, Tuy Hoa City Medical Center, Dong Hoa Town Medical Center and Ward 7 People's Committee to monitor and investigate to find the cause.

The Department of Health established a team to inspect the compliance with food safety regulations at Phu Yen Night Street Company Limited - Garden Night Street III Restaurant. The inspection results showed that the restaurant violated a number of regulations in the field of food service business, and the Department of Health is taking strict action. At the same time, specialized departments under the Department of Health have investigated the suspected food poisoning case according to the Food Poisoning Investigation Regulations issued by the Ministry of Health .
