As the new school year approaches, along with buying books, pens, rulers, school bags..., parents also pay attention to choosing fabrics and uniform designs that are beautiful, cool, and suitable for their children.

Unlike other times, when uniforms only need to be purchased according to the school's available model, this year, Ms. Doan Thi Ky's child (Thanh Sen ward, Ha Tinh province) entered grade 6, moving to a new level of education with a new uniform. So she wanted to choose fabric to make a few more uniforms so that her child could conveniently change between days of the week. "Although it's not the first day of school yet, I bought them early to avoid the rush. At the beginning of the school year, the tailor shops are crowded so I'm afraid I'll have to wait a long time" - Ms. Ky shared.
When her mother took her to get a new uniform, Nguyen Doan Thuy Duong (Thanh Sen ward, Ha Tinh province) felt very happy and excited. “Every year, at the end of summer vacation, my mother takes me to get a uniform made. The feeling of wearing a new uniform that is both beautiful and comfortable makes me very excited and motivated to start the new school year.”

A survey of some uniform stores in Thanh Sen Ward, Ha Tinh Province showed that the number of customers has increased sharply in recent weeks. Many stores said that purchasing power this year has doubled compared to the same period last year.
Ms. Tran Thi Hai (owner of Viet Thang tailor shop at Ha Tinh Market, Thanh Sen Ward) shared: “Since the beginning of July, our shop has welcomed customers to order uniforms for students of all levels. This year, the number of customers has increased compared to last year, some schools have changed the designs but we have updated them promptly, the prices are still reasonable.”
As one of the prestigious tailors in Thanh Sen ward, Khue tailor shop is not only proactive in terms of human resources and materials, but also strives to improve product designs and quality to better meet the increasing needs of parents and students. Ms. Tran Thi Ha - owner of Khue tailor shop (Xuan Dieu street, Thanh Sen ward) shared: "Every year, at the time of preparing for the new school year, the number of customers ordering uniforms increases sharply. To keep up with the schedule, our facility has worked overtime, mobilized more tailors and prepared fabric sources early. Thanks to that, despite the large number of orders, we still ensure on-time delivery, not making customers wait long."

Currently, school uniforms on the market are quite diverse with prices ranging from 180,000-350,000 VND/set, depending on the grade level and requirements of each school. Many schools order custom-made uniforms to ensure uniformity. In addition to traditional uniforms, tailors also provide class shirts and gym shirts printed with the school logo, increasing the choices for students.
The bustling atmosphere at the tailor shops, the excitement of students when wearing their new uniforms and the proactive preparation of parents… all contribute to creating an exciting start to the new school year. The uniforms are not only clothes but also a spiritual motivation, helping students to be more confident, ready to conquer knowledge and new experiences in the learning journey ahead.
