With this new regulation, this year new university students will be accepted into the Ho Chi Minh City National University dormitory before entering school, earlier than every year.

Confirm admission on the common system to register for dormitory

On August 12, the Center for Dormitory and Urban Area Management of Ho Chi Minh City National University (Center) held a conference on boarding student affairs for the 2025-2026 school year and signed cooperation agreements with 12 universities in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the conference, the Center summarized the work of boarding students in the past school year with many positive results in many aspects. At the same time, the delegates also evaluated the effectiveness of the activities implemented within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Center and training institutions in the past time.

This is also an opportunity for the parties to exchange, discuss and agree on important contents to best prepare for the reception of new students for the 2025-2026 school year.

Concluding the conference, MSc. Tang Huu Thuy - Director of the Center, emphasized many practical solutions to support students during their stay at the Ho Chi Minh City National University Dormitory.

"In particular, this year, the admission of students to dormitories has been unified to use the university entrance exam results and after candidates confirm their admission on the general admission portal of the Ministry of Education and Training as the basis for registration at the dormitory of Ho Chi Minh City National University," said Mr. Thuy.

Implement many policies to support students

According to Mr. Thuy, in the new school year, the Center will also implement many more policies to support students such as: exempting and reducing accommodation fees, granting scholarships, supporting the Student Sharing Kitchen model, etc. Strengthening care for students' material, spiritual, and sports lives.

Organize movements, competitions, and exchange activities to connect boarding students. Promote health care, coordinate joint activities between parties; renovate, repair, and invest in accommodation facilities, and beautify the urban landscape.

Promote community activities such as voluntary blood donation, participation in social work days, volunteer Saturday programs, Green Sunday, implementing the 5S accommodation model...

At the conference, the Center signed a new phase of cooperation agreement with many training institutions: University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Natural Sciences, University of Economics and Law, International University, University of Information Technology, University of Health Sciences, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law and FPT University.

Over the past time, the effective cooperation and coordination between the Center and training institutions have contributed significantly to improving the quality of life for boarding students. This is the foundation for the parties to continue to promote cooperation, aiming to bring the best learning and living conditions for students in the future.
