On December 12th, the Hai Phong Department of Planning and Investment organized a workshop on investment promotion and investment monitoring and management in Duong Kinh district and Kien Thuy district, Hai Phong city.
Information released by the Hai Phong Department of Planning and Investment at the seminar attracted significant attention from investors, especially real estate investors, regarding Vinhomes Joint Stock Company's urgent completion of procedures and capital preparation for the commencement of a new urban area project in Duong Kinh district and Kien Thuy district.
The project has a total investment of over 23,000 billion VND and covers an area of over 240 hectares. It is expected to meet the demand for high-quality housing for approximately 48,000 people. This will contribute to shaping and completing the urban infrastructure system at the southern gateway of Hai Phong, in line with the overall planning and development of Hai Phong.

Along with the aforementioned project, Hai Phong City is calling for investment in large-scale projects in Duong Kinh district and Kien Thuy district. These include urban development projects, industrial zones and clusters in the two localities, and an inland waterway terminal project along the Van Uc River (Kien Thuy district).
Previously, Nguoi Dua Tin published an article titled "Ready to clear land for the 240-hectare new urban area project," which stated: To serve the construction project of a new urban area in Duong Kinh district and Kien Thuy district, Hai Phong city plans to reclaim approximately 107 hectares of land in Hoa Nghia ward, Duong Kinh district, and 122 hectares of land in Dai Dong and Dong Phuong communes (both in Kien Thuy district).
The land to be acquired for the project is located adjacent to Highway 5B, connecting Hanoi , Hai Phong, and Quang Ninh. Immediately after the Hai Phong City government approved the investor, the authorities of the three aforementioned localities promptly began preparing for land clearance.
News that the Hai Phong city government has approved Vinhomes as the investor for a 240-hectare new urban area project has revitalized the local real estate market, which had been "frozen" for months .
Vinhomes' new urban area project in Duong Kinh district and Kien Thuy district, Hai Phong city, has a total investment of over 23.2 trillion VND. Of this, construction costs account for approximately 21.6 trillion VND, and compensation and land clearance costs amount to 1.6 trillion VND.
The project includes a high-rise apartment complex (expected 13.9 hectares), 5,000 townhouses (36.6 hectares), and 1,300 villas (18.8 hectares). The project's operating period is 50 years from the date Vinhomes is allocated or leased the land by the city.
