Standardize MobiFone subscriber information with the National Population Database

According to the provisions of Decree 49/2017/ND-CP of the Government , mobile subscribers must provide accurate personal information (full name, ID card/citizen identification card, date of issue and place of issue, etc.) to network operators. The regulation helps protect the rights of customers using the service and limit the situation of junk SIM cards on the market.

Ensuring synchronous connection of mobile subscriber information with the National Population Database (NDB) will facilitate customers when using MobiFone services in case of lost or damaged SIM cards, while protecting customers' rights when using services on the national public service portal or non-telecommunications services such as banking services and insurance services.

Standardizing MobiFone subscriber information with the National Population Database - 1

Customers who have not standardized their information will receive a message from MobiFone to standardize their subscriber information in one of the following ways:

  • Method 1: Go to the nearest MobiFone store

List of Stores on website: www.mobifone.vn, "Customer Support" section (search for stores by province/city and district). Customers need to bring ID card/CCCD for transaction staff to support at the counter.

  • Method 2: Via My MobiFone app (individual prepaid customers in files that do not match the national population database)

Step 1: Download the My MobiFone application. Log in to the phone number you need to register information with OTP.

Step 2: At the main interface of the application, click on More in the lower right corner of the interface, select "Customer information".

Select “Subscriber Information” to check information.

Select “Register information” to update subscriber information.

Step 3: When clicking “Register information”, the system will ask to enter the OTP code before updating subscriber information.

Step 4: Take a photo of your ID card/Citizen ID/Passport front/back and a portrait photo. Sign on the application screen and select “Continue”.

Step 5: Personal information is recognized by the AI ​​system through the image updated in Step 4. Customers check the information again and update the missing information. Select to agree to the commitment and "Confirm".

Step 6: After clicking “Confirm”, the system requires entering the OTP code to agree to update subscriber information.

  • Method 3: Via website https://tttb.mobifone.vn/ (applicable to individual customers and users in organizations and businesses).

Step 1: Enter the subscriber number whose information needs to be updated. Click "Continue".

Step 2: The system will send an OTP code to the entered phone number via 999. Enter the OTP code and click "Continue".

Step 3: Upload photos including: Front photo of ID, back photo of ID and portrait photo and click "Upload". The system will extract data.

Step 4: Check the information that the system has extracted from the uploaded photo, including: Full name, date of birth, gender, ID card/CCCD number (Not allowed to edit), date of issue, place of issue. Then sign in the "Signature" box and check "Commitment to subscriber number owner". Click "Verify information" to complete the subscriber information change.

  • Method 4: Will come to support at home for special customers, the elderly.
