Rehearsal photo series: Military delegations from four countries parade on Ba Dinh Square

(Chinhphu.vn) - During the State-level parade rehearsal at Ba Dinh Square on the morning of August 30, in preparation for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (A80), four military blocs from China, Russia, Laos, and Cambodia participated and blended in with the Vietnamese blocs.

Participating in the General Rehearsal program were more than 40,000 officers, soldiers and representatives of all walks of life. Passing through the stage were 26 military blocs, 4 foreign military blocs (China, Russia, Laos, Cambodia), militia - guerrilla bloc, 17 police blocs, 14 military artillery blocs, and 9 police special vehicle blocs.

At the invitation of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense, the Central Military Commission/Ministry of National Defense of China decided to send a ceremonial delegation according to national protocol to attend the parade.

On the morning of August 30, a formation of 120 soldiers of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, in three distinctive uniforms of the army, navy and air force, appeared at Ba Dinh Square during the State-level General Rehearsal.
