On June 2, the Provincial Women's Union organized the Final Round of the Creative Business Startup Ideas Competition for Women in Dak Lak Province.
Launched in February 2023, the Competition has received attention, response and implementation from all levels of the Women's Union in the province. After more than 3 months of implementation, the Organizing Committee has received 84 business startup ideas in many fields such as agricultural development applying science and technology, promoting indigenous resources through cultivation, livestock breeding, preservation and processing industry; health care; preserving ethnic culture through developing traditional occupations and products, exploiting community tourism... from enterprises/cooperatives/cooperative groups/association groups, business households/startups owned by women and women members.

In the final round, representatives of 10 projects presented their business startup ideas and answered questions from the judges. In addition, the judges suggested to the contestants the factors they needed to determine in order to perfect their ideas and expand their projects.
As a result, the individual prizes, the first prize went to the project "Nutritional products from Kơ nia seeds" by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thang (Buon Ma Thuot City); the second prize went to the project "Business of handmade Bodhi leaves" by Ms. Dinh Thi Hue (Buon Ma Thuot City) and the project "Modern Tò he" by Ms. Bui Ngoc Thanh Thao (Buon Ma Thuot City); the three third prizes were awarded to the projects: "Starting a business with swiftlets" by Ms. Le Thi Hien (Buon Ho town), "Ms. Ngát Natural herbal tea" by Ms. Hoang Thi Ngát (Buon Ma Thuot City) and "Production and trade of macadamia nuts, sachi, cashews, pistachios and other nutritional and agricultural products" by Ms. Vu Thi Hanh (Krong Nang district).

In the collective award, the project "Developing fermented cocoa water" by the group of authors Nguyen Hong Thuong (Ea Kar district) won the first prize; second prize: "Production and trading of Ea Sin wine" by the group of authors H Tam Kdoh (Krong Buk district); third prize: "Instant coffee" by the group of authors Pham Thi Hoang Phi (Krong Nang district) and "Ea Bar women start a sustainable business with Lan Ban Me coffee chain" by the group of Huynh Thi Tuyet Lan (Buon Don district).
The contest aims to promote the implementation of the Project "Supporting women to start a business, period 2017-2025" of the Women's Union at all levels in the province; to arouse the potential of women's creativity in economic development and start-ups; to create inspiration and passion for business for women members, cooperatives/cooperative groups/linked groups, economic models managed/owned by women; business households/start-ups connected with enterprises and cooperatives with projects/ideas; to promote cooperation and association in the production and consumption of agricultural products according to the value chain, contributing to the effective implementation of the Program "One Commune One Product" (OCOP)...
