Join hands to support Hue people to overcome the consequences of floods

On November 13, Hue city continued to receive support from units, businesses and philanthropists nationwide to help overcome the consequences of floods. Meaningful gifts and timely funding were handed directly to patients, schools and affected households, contributing to helping the city stabilize its life soon after the natural disaster.

Receiving the support, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City Nguyen Thi Ai Van thanked the timely and valuable support of the units and benefactors who contributed to helping the city overcome the consequences of natural disasters and floods. She affirmed that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City will allocate and transfer support funds to each locality and affected households as quickly as possible, using the support sources effectively and transparently, contributing to the early stabilization of people's lives.

In the program "Overcoming floods with compatriots", Hope Fund and Uniqlo Vietnam were present in Hue city, supporting people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods. At Hue Central Hospital, the units donated essential necessities and 200 million VND to patients in difficult circumstances. In addition, the units donated 200 million VND to Thuy Bieu Primary School, Thuy Xuan ward to create the best conditions for the school to soon stabilize teaching and learning.

Mr. Akiyama Naoki, General Director of UNIQLO Vietnam Company, sympathized with the people of Hue city after the heavy losses caused by natural disasters; appreciated the efforts of the people of Hue, including the medical team of Hue Central Hospital, to soon stabilize their lives and medical examination and treatment activities to take place normally after the flood. Along with the donation, the Company also sent thousands of new clothes to the local people. He hoped that the support gifts would contribute to alleviating the loss of the people, especially patients and people in difficult circumstances.
