This is a series of events organized by the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday; the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. The activities have the participation of many leaders of central and local departments, ministries and branches.
The national exhibition “President Ho Chi Minh – National quintessence, contemporary stature” displays nearly 300 valuable images and documents collected and exploited from archives, museums, relics, libraries, news agencies, and newspapers at home and abroad. The exhibition consists of 4 parts: President Ho Chi Minh – The man who left an imprint of the century; President Ho Chi Minh – Symbol of national quintessence and spirit; Ho Chi Minh in the minds of international friends; Ho Chi Minh’s legacy endures and shines in the new era of development of the Vietnamese nation.

The exhibition recreates the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, closely linked to the culture, morality, and revolutionary spirit of the Vietnamese people and international friends. The exhibition also demonstrates the stature and value of his legacy in the history of the nation and the times, expressing respect and infinite gratitude to the leader who devoted his whole life to the freedom, independence of the nation and the happiness of the people; affirming that Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought continue to guide the Vietnamese people into a new era - an era of development, an era of prosperity under the leadership of the Communist Party, successfully building a socialist Vietnam, a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness, civilization, on par with the world powers. The exhibition runs until the end of June 2025.
The organizers also displayed a photo collection of 135 unique documentary photos, capturing authentic and vivid moments of Uncle Ho's activities in the Presidential Palace, where he lived and worked for the last 15 years (1954–1969) – the longest stop in the 79-spring journey of President Ho Chi Minh's life.

On this occasion, the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace also opened the “Storytelling Artifacts” room with the thematic exhibition “Uncle Ho with the South - The South with Uncle Ho”. The exhibition consists of two main parts: “Uncle misses the South, misses home”; “The South longs for Uncle, misses father”. This thematic exhibition is not simply a space to display historical documents and artifacts, but also a journey of deep emotions, helping viewers understand more and be more proud of the sacred relationship between Uncle Ho and the South, thereby strongly arousing the spirit of national solidarity, the will to be self-reliant, and the determination to build and protect the country to become increasingly rich and civilized, as President Ho Chi Minh always wished.
Also within the framework of the event, the Organizing Committee launched the book "135 stories about Uncle Ho", a gallery of books about President Ho Chi Minh, a program to experience Ho Chi Minh's heritage for students at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, and at the same time deployed information technology applications, integrating QR Codes at relic sites in the Relic Site.
