The art program "May Gifts for Him" ​​took place at the Hanoi Opera House

The special art program “May Gifts for Him” to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2025) will take place at the Hanoi Opera House on the evening of May 14. Many famous artists will sing praises to Uncle Ho, such as People's Artist Thu Hien, People's Artist Quang Vinh, People's Artist Truong Giang, People's Artist Phuong Thao, Meritorious Artist Truong Bac, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, etc.

The program is directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the participation of Culture Newspaper, Vietnam Music and Dance Theater, and Social Impact Media and Strategy Joint Stock Company.

Through unique and elaborately staged art performances, “May Gifts for Him” propagates andeducates the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary ideals and spreads the study and following of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style to all classes of people; contributing to creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, encouraging the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army to continue studying for the goal of building an increasingly prosperous country, especially in the context of the whole country entering a new era, the era of national development.

The program includes 3 chapters: "The person looking for the shape of the country", "The flag for peace" and "The name of Ho Chi Minh will shine forever", with the combination of many types of art such as singing, dancing, music, drama, animation, cinema and modern 3D mapping projection technology.

In the first chapter, the program recreates the childhood of the boy Nguyen Sinh Cung and his 30-year journey to find a way to save the country. The dance performance combined with the hologram projection in “White Winters” is the highlight of this chapter.

Chapter 2 carries the message of international spirit in Ho Chi Minh's thought, with thoughts of peace, charity and humanity. The reportage "Ho Chi Minh - The flag for peace and global influence" helps the audience access the statements of foreign scholars, international friends from France, India, Cuba, Africa... expressing admiration for the stature of his thought and his benevolent heart.

Chapter 3 is a performance expressing the spirit of solidarity of the whole nation, firmly following the path that Uncle Ho chose. The path that he chose for our nation and people still holds its value today, in line with the country's reality and the general trend of the world.

In the program, the audience will enjoy songs about Him such as “Praise to President Ho”, “Ho Chi Minh Song”, the medley “Who loves Uncle Ho Chi Minh more than children – Uncle Ho, the one who gives me everything”… and the performance “My Kool Vietnam – My homeland Vietnam”, the emotional and proud scene “Wish to follow His Will”.
