Mid-Autumn Festival Program "Cooking for Children"

On the afternoon of October 4, the People's Committee of Cao Son commune coordinated with Drivers Association 28; Ha Nam Drivers Association; Vinh Quang Pagoda and a number of volunteer groups from Hanoi and Quang Ninh to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival program "Cooking for Children" in Cao Son commune.

Accordingly, the program took place with many meaningful activities such as organizing the cooking of 1,700 meals for students studying at kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in Cao Son commune; performing arts, lion dances, giving gifts of cakes and star lanterns to children on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival. In addition, volunteer groups also gave 20 gifts, including necessities and cash worth 1 million VND/gift, to households in difficult circumstances in the commune.

1,700 preschool, primary and secondary school students in Cao Son commune received candy and star lanterns to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Through the program, volunteer groups and donors hope to share love with children in remote and disadvantaged areas through delicious meals, fun activities, and gifts.
