"Loving Tet" Program Spring Giap Thin 2024

On January 20, the Central delegation of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Vice President of the VWU, coordinated with the Provincial Women's Union to organize the "Loving Tet" program for the Year of the Dragon 2024. The delegation was accompanied by representatives of the Provincial Women's Union.

At the program, the delegation presented 50 gifts to policy families; poor women, elderly women; orphans, and children in difficult circumstances in Thuan Nam district. Each gift is worth 1.3 million VND, including 1 million VND in cash and items. Presented 4 gifts to grassroots women's union officials. Visited, wished a happy new year, and presented gifts to Phuoc Diem Border Guard Station (Thuan Nam).

The delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union presented gifts to orphans and disadvantaged children in Thuan Nam district.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Hien affirmed: The program "Loving Tet" Spring Giap Thin - 2024 organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union aims to show gratitude to those who have contributed to the revolution, policy beneficiaries; at the same time, create a joyful atmosphere, strengthen solidarity and encourage members, women, cadres, soldiers... on the occasion of Tet. These gifts show the hearts of women's unions at all levels to orphans, members, and women in difficult circumstances, thereby helping women overcome difficulties soon, having more conditions to prepare to welcome the Lunar New Year Giap Thin - 2024 more joyfully and warmly.

Within the framework of the program “Loving Tet”, the delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Union visited and wished Happy New Year to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Le Thi Hu, Lac Son 1 village, Ca Na commune and Mrs. Dinh Thi Lien, a relative of a martyr, Quan The 1 village, Phuoc Minh commune (Thuan Nam). On behalf of the delegation, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Hien kindly asked about the health and life of the mothers; wished the mothers good health, a happy and healthy life with their children and grandchildren, and to always be a shining example of morality and revolutionary tradition for the younger generation to follow.
