Program "Quang Ngai Youth for the Homeland's Sea and Islands in 2025" at Naval Region 3

Attending and encouraging the Program were Colonel Pham Dinh Thanh - Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Region 3; Comrade Tran Dang Minh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Student Association of Quang Ngai Province and more than 30 comrades who are officials of the Provincial Youth Union, key officials of the Youth Union of districts, towns, city Youth Unions, and Youth Unions directly under the Quang Ngai Provincial Youth Union.

With many practical activities within the framework of the journey, delegates of Quang Ngai Provincial Youth Union visited the accommodation, living and training places of officers and soldiers on combat ship units; learned about the process of building, fighting, winning and growing up of the Vietnam People's Navy at the Traditional House of Region 3; organized cultural exchanges with officers and youth union members of Naval Region 3.

The Chief of Naval Region 3 and delegates of Quang Ngai Provincial Youth Union presented gifts to children with serious illnesses and in especially difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, Quang Ngai Provincial Youth Union presented a youth project with the theme: "Quang Ngai Youth for Beloved Truong Sa"; awarded 42 scholarships to children with serious illnesses, long-term treatment, and in especially difficult circumstances who are children of soldiers in the Region; a sponsorship fund for fishermen's children and 500 national flags to Naval Region 3. The total value of the gifts is more than 120 million VND.

Representative of Quang Ngai Provincial Youth Union presented a symbolic plaque of the fund to sponsor fishermen's children to support Naval Region 3.

The program is a practical activity to welcome the 12th Congress of the Party Committee of Naval Region 3, term 2025-2030. This is also an opportunity to promote to cadres and youth union members of Quang Ngai Provincial Youth Union a better understanding of the tradition, role and results of the Navy's task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands, thereby raising awareness and responsibility of the forces in the cause of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
