A Russian plane carrying more than 35 tons of aid to Vietnam to help localities overcome the consequences of Typhoon Yagi arrived at Noi Bai airport on September 20.

On September 20, a special aircraft of the Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Relief (Emergencies Ministry) of the Russian Federation delivered humanitarian aid to Vietnam to support overcoming the devastating consequences of Typhoon Yagi.

On the same afternoon, at Noi Bai airport, the delegation of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and staff of the Russian Embassy in Hanoi held a ceremony to hand over the goods to the Vietnamese side.

The event was attended by Deputy Director of the Department of Dyke Control and Natural Disaster Prevention of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Van Tien and Charge d'Affaires of the Russian Federation in Vietnam IS Nesterov.

The partners expressed their deep gratitude for the timely assistance provided to Vietnam in the spirit of traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
