When making the film Nguoi hei ke Tam Duc (38 episodes, screenwriters: Hoang Thu Thuy - Nguyen Anh Dao - Le Tran Ngoc My), what motivated director Thai Trinh was not simply to make an entertaining work, but "for me, cuisine is both a need and a bridge to convey cultural values and national traditions". The director believes that no tourist coming to Vietnam can resist the attraction of traditional dishes - it is part of the identity that makes us special. Therefore, he wondered: why not use cinema to contribute to preserving and spreading this quintessence?

And the crew chose the profession of making Quang noodles to tell the story of inheritance. "Quang noodles are not only a dish, but also a national intangible cultural heritage, a crystallization of folk knowledge, a symbol of humanity, simplicity and hospitality of Quang Nam people. That is what prompted me to choose Quang noodles as the center of the story - not only to honor a dish, but to tell about an entire way of life", the director shared.
With those meanings, the male director hopes that The Heir of Tam Duc will be well received by the audience, as the film not only helps viewers understand more about Vietnamese culinary culture, especially Quang noodles, but also awakens in each person dreams that seem to have been forgotten, that with enough desire and sincerity, anyone can live fully with their passion.
The film features the following actors: Tran Phong, Milan, Ngoc Thuan, Hoang Nhu My, Duong Mac Anh Quan, Ha Me Tien, Nguyen Anh Tu, Quan Khai, Thuy Hanh, Ngan Quynh, Vo Hiep, Phuc An, Xuan Hiep..., broadcast at 7:45 p.m. every day from May 26 on SCTV14 - Vietnamese Film Channel.
