On the evening of May 6, Coach Nguyen Cong Manh and Binh Duong Club reached an agreement to part ways. Coach Cong Manh has not been able to help Binh Duong regain its form, especially the mistakes in the defeat in round 21. At this time, there is a rumor that Anh Duc will return to his old team.

Before that, in the 0-3 loss to Hanoi FC in round 19, coach Nguyen Cong Manh asked to resign. He later changed his decision after being persuaded by the leaders and players to stay.

"This time I'm really quitting, saying goodbye peacefully. This morning I went to the team to say goodbye to the players and will soon fly to Hanoi. Hopefully the team will be successful with the new coach," said coach Cong Manh.

The new coach of Binh Duong Club is likely to be an acquaintance. Accordingly, former striker Nguyen Anh Duc has been invited back to lead the team he was attached to. And at noon on May 7, Anh Duc signed a contract with the leadership of B.Binh Duong Club.

Previously, Anh Duc had many conflicts with some team leaders. After that, he chose to leave and attend coaching courses. He has a Pro Coaching license issued by AFC.

Anh Duc has led two clubs playing in the First Division, Long An Club (2023) and recently Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club.
