Vietnam's No. 1 women's club receives big reward from VFF for entering Asian tournament quarterfinals

Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club is having impressive performances at the 2025-2026 Asian Women's Cup C1 when winning both of the first two matches in the group stage. Specifically, Huynh Nhu and her teammates defeated Stallion Laguna (Philippines) 1-0 and won 2-0 against Lion City Sailors (Singapore).

After the excellent achievement of Vietnam's No. 1 women's club, on behalf of the VFF Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the VFF Executive Committee, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan sent a congratulatory letter and awarded the entire team 300 million VND.

The letter to the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club emphasized that this is the second consecutive season that the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club has made it to the quarter-finals of the Asian tournament. Thereby, it continues to affirm its mettle and capacity in the continental arena. This achievement is a testament to the team's solid professional capacity, solidarity, and resilient fighting spirit.
