Phan Ngoc Hien Square has an area of ​​over 35,000 ^m2 , with a total investment of 278 billion VND. Including a 24 m high Ca Mau shrimp symbol, a 28 m high national flagpole and 233 artistic water fountains.

Ca Mau has a shrimp farming area of ​​over 410,000 hectares, with an estimated output of 566,000 tons in 2024, accounting for 45% of the country's shrimp output. Shrimp has made an important contribution to bringing the province's seafood export value from 2.6 to 2.9 billion USD/year.
