On July 29, speaking with Thanh Nien reporter, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hang, Deputy Head of the Urban Management Department of Hai Duong City (Hai Duong) said that as of July 28, 78/80 households in the B4 Binh Minh apartment complex (Pham Ngu Lao Ward, Hai Duong City) had been relocated to a new residence in the residential area east of Ngo Quyen (Hudic building).

"78 households have been safely evacuated to the Hudic building, one household is in the countryside and will be evacuated when they return, and the remaining households are being encouraged by the Hai Duong City government. Hai Duong province has supported each household with 3.5 million VND to help move their belongings to the new residence," Ms. Hang informed.

According to Ms. Hang, Hudic building is a social housing area, each house in Hudic building has an area of about 38m2 , the rental price is calculated at 51 thousand VND/ m2 . For each household moving from B4 Binh Minh collective housing area to this building, Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee applies a 50% subsidy on the rental price.

According to statistics, after the households in the B4 Binh Minh apartment complex were relocated to new housing, the entire Hai Duong city currently has more than 400 households living in unsafe houses like this apartment complex.
