England will face the Netherlands in the Euro 2024 semi-final on July 11. Hundreds of England fans were already gathered around Signal Iduna Park several hours before kick-off.

To pass the time waiting for the match to start, the Three Lions fans organized a football match on the street. They bought a replica of the Fussballliebe ball used at Euro 2024. The match took place in a square in Dortmund.

This spontaneous football match quickly attracted a lot of attention. Fans drank beer together, sang and cheered along with each ball. All created a bustling atmosphere that was no less than inside the official matches at Euro 2024.

However, this also caused noise and chaos on the streets of Dortmund. German police appeared to quickly interrupt the match and disperse the crowd. They confiscated the football from the English fans to ensure that the match would not continue when they left.

Many people were upset and shouted for the German police to return the ball to the English fans. This request was not accepted and the noise gradually died down.
