(Dan Tri) - In a video with nearly 15 million views, a boy from a mountainous region gave his teacher two crabs in a plastic bottle, folding his arms: "I wish you to crawl as fast as a crab."
In recent days, social media has been spreading a video of a boy from the highlands giving a special gift to his teacher on Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20. In the video, the boy respectfully folds his arms as he presents his teacher with two crabs in a plastic bottle. The boy innocently says, "I wish you to crawl as fast as a crab."
Other students in the class took turns giving their teacher special gifts such as: wild flowers they picked themselves, a Mong ethnic dress, a bag of rice, a bunch of green vegetables, ginger, sugarcane, green chili... along with cute wishes: "I wish you eat rice to grow up", "I wish you are as beautiful as ginger", "I wish you wear a beautiful dress"...

The video quickly attracted the attention of the online community, receiving nearly 15 million views in just 3 days. Many internet users expressed their love for the story of the teacher and students in the highlands, especially the innocence of the children with the "priceless" gifts for their teacher.
"You and your students are so adorable. I wish you and your students always be happy, healthy and safe," wrote reader Nguyen Trung.
"It's both funny and sad, but I feel sorry for the teacher in the mountainous area who has suffered so many disadvantages," commented user Duy Hung.

According to Dan Tri reporter's investigation, the teacher in the video above is Ms. Nguyen Kim Hong, working at the Primary Boarding School No. 2, Phong Hai town (Bao Thang district, Lao Cai province).
Ms. Hong thanked the students for sending meaningful gifts. "Although they are in difficult circumstances, the love they have for me is priceless," she said.
Ms. Hong's school has 28 students, in grades 1 and 2. The students in the video are in grade 2, including the boy who gave his teacher two crabs named Chang Seo Anh.
At first, when she heard Anh say she would give her crabs, Ms. Hong was surprised and thought it was a joke. When she held the plastic bottle containing two crabs in her hand, she burst out laughing at the innocence of the children in the highlands.

Every month, Ms. Hong will teach students a topic about the meaning of the holidays of the month. Around holidays such as Vietnamese Women's Day and Vietnamese Teachers' Day, she often guides students on how to express their feelings for their grandmothers, mothers and teachers.
"The children do not have the means, but simply picking wild flowers to give to their teacher touched me. Thank you for the special gifts filled with so much love that you gave. It is truly precious and valuable. It is a great source of encouragement for me on this special day," Ms. Hong exclaimed.
During her 26 years in the profession, for the past two years, Ms. Hong has been assigned to work at a highland school in Phong Hai town. For her, November 20th brings different surprises and impressions every year. Last year, the students also innocently wished her "good study".

Teacher Hong posted a clip about this year's lovely gift and was surprised when the post attracted nearly 15 million views and was spread on social networking forums. She wanted to preserve beautiful memories in her career, hoping that the students in the highlands would receive attention and love from everyone.
"Each year has a different feeling, no year is the same, the wildflowers given on a special day naturally feel valuable," she confided.
