Last chance to own a Honda Civic Type R – Honda's iconic sports racing car

First launched in Japan in 1997, the Honda Civic Type R is proud to be a high-performance car chosen by customers in the sports car world around the world. Throughout its development history, the Honda Civic Type R has set many records and won prestigious awards: "Car of the Year" awarded by BBC Top Gear in 2017; "Outstanding Hatchback of the Year 2020" awarded by Auto Express. Above all, the Civic Type R has set new records for front-wheel drive cars at many famous racetracks around the world - especially at the Nürburgring Nordschleife (Germany) on many different occasions. Similar results were achieved at other circuits such as Magny Cours (France), Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium), Hungaroring (Hungary), Estoril (Portugal), Suzuka (Japan), Silverstone (England) and Mount Panorama Bathurst (Australia). After three years in the Vietnamese market, the Civic Type R has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers, who are surprised and delighted to experience this top-of-the-line sports racing car. Celebrating the 3rd anniversary of the Civic Type R in Vietnam and bidding farewell to this iconic sports car, Honda Vietnam will officially begin accepting orders for the final 10 Civic Type R vehicles. Customers can place orders starting today and are expected to receive their cars from December 2026 at Honda dealerships nationwide. To mark this special milestone, the last 10 customers in Vietnam will receive a Civic Type R ownership certificate at the handover ceremony.
