DTO - On the morning of May 31, the People's Committee of Hung Thanh commune, Thap Muoi district opened a free swimming class for over 20 children inside and outside the commune.

Ms. Tran Thi Kim Thia guides children to warm up before swimming practice.

The swimming class is taught by Ms. Tran Thi Kim Thia (Sau Thia, 66 years old). The students are aged 6-12. During the 10 days, Ms. Sau Thia teaches the children basic swimming skills and how to handle dangerous situations that may occur while swimming.

Through the class, children will learn basic swimming skills to reduce drowning accidents; at the same time, create a healthy and useful playground for children during the summer. It is known that for over 20 years, Ms. Tran Thi Kim Thia has diligently taught free swimming to over 5,000 children in and outside the commune.
