“I had to stand and dance in high heels that were about one and a half inches high. The stage was also a slippery LED screen, so it was difficult to keep my balance. Right at the moment I turned around and stopped to end the performance, a light was shined directly into my face, making me slightly dizzy. When watching, people could see me staggering many times,” she said.

Previously, Phuong Vy was self-conscious about her appearance because of weight gain. However, she has now gradually regained her slim figure.

Phuong Vy confided: “I didn’t think that after episode 2, there would be so many viewers sending messages of encouragement, congratulations, and asking about my figure. I was very touched by the audience’s affection, this was the motivation that helped me overcome my previous self-consciousness about my appearance.”

Phuong Vy also admitted that she always felt self-conscious, especially when the show had 29 other talented "beautiful sisters".
