Police of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang provinces met to agree on a merger plan.

BHG - On April 25, at Tuyen Quang Provincial Police, the leaders of the Public Security of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang provinces held a conference to agree on a plan to merge Tuyen Quang Provincial Police and Ha Giang Provincial Police. Colonel Pham Kim Dinh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police and Colonel Nguyen Duc Thuan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Ha Giang Provincial Police co-chaired the conference. Also attending the conference were comrades in the Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of the Public Security of the two provinces and heads of a number of Public Security units of the two provinces.

At the conference, the leaders of the Public Security of the two provinces assessed the situation, current status of organization and operation of the two units; discussed many important issues related to the merger of the Public Security of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces, focusing on the plan for personnel arrangement, facilities and conditions to ensure when implementing the merger; proactively analyzed, evaluated and forecasted issues that may impact and affect the tasks of the Public Security before, during and after the merger; made recommendations and proposed support mechanisms and policies to facilitate the merger process; determined the roadmap and implementation solutions in the coming time.

Concluding the conference, the Director of the Public Security Department of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces requested functional units to uphold their sense of responsibility, be proactive, and urgently coordinate to implement assigned tasks: Proactively grasp the situation, do a good job of political and ideological work for officers and soldiers; proactively review, evaluate, and specifically compile statistics on professional tasks for each unit, field, and force system; advise on the development and completion of plans to arrange and restructure the organizational apparatus; develop plans to arrange offices, public housing, and means to serve the work; promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, creativity, and smooth coordination to effectively implement tasks from now until the time of merging the two provinces, ensuring closeness, synchronization, unity, and effectiveness.
