Local police organize driving tests for thousands of students in 2025

Taking place on May 24 and 25, this driving license examination had 683 candidates whose driving licenses had expired and who were absent or failed in previous examinations.

Before the test, the Traffic Police Department officers reminded and requested that students not bring phones or communication devices into the theoretical test room or the test room simulating traffic situations. Students who commit fraudulent acts that distort the results will be suspended and have their test results revoked.

In particular, the new point of this test is that the Traffic Police Department will conduct alcohol and stimulant tests on students before they take the driving test in the photo and on the road.

During the exam, students will go through all the test contents including: Theory test on computer, simulated traffic situations and practical test on the test ground, test on the road. Students who do not pass any part of the exam will be registered to retake. Passed content will be reserved within 1 year.

All stages of organization are implemented seriously, transparently, strictly following the procedures according to the new regulations of the Ministry of Public Security , and are closely monitored by a modern camera and sensor system, ensuring fairness, objectivity and high accuracy in scoring.

It is expected that from now until the end of May, the Traffic Police Department ( Quang Ninh Provincial Police) will organize 6 more driving tests to issue driving licenses for more than 800 candidates. And by the end of 2025, the Traffic Police Department will organize tests for more than 11,000 qualified driving students.

Also on May 24, the Traffic Police Department of Vinh Long Province Police coordinated with the Testing Center of the Can Tho City Road Motor Vehicle Training and Testing Center to organize a test for class B and class C car driving licenses.

This is the first driving license test organized by Vinh Long Provincial Police since taking over the State management function of testing and issuing driving licenses.

This time, a total of 253 students participated in the driving license test. Of these, 125 students took the B class, 82 students took the C class, and 46 students took the license restoration test. These students were trained at Gia Thinh Vocational Training Center for Driving in Vinh Long City.

Candidates participate in 4 exams, including: Theoretical test on computer; driving test using software simulating traffic situations; practical test of driving skills in the driving course and on public roads.
