Announcing exam scores and benchmark scores for grade 6 to enter 3 'hot' schools in Thu Duc

On the afternoon of May 29, the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City announced the exam scores and standard scores for grade 6 at 3 secondary schools: Tran Quoc Toan 1, Hoa Lu, and Binh Tho.

Accordingly, parents can look up 6th grade exam scores via the admissions portal: https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn/.

Then, parents go to the ENROLLMENT LOOKUP section and enter information such as grade code, citizen identification number, password and security code to view scores.

According to the Departmentof Education and Training of Thu Duc City, from 8:00 a.m. on May 31 to 5:00 p.m. on June 1: parents submit an application for review at the school to register for a survey if needed.

The entrance exam for grade 6 of the three secondary schools Tran Quoc Toan 1, Hoa Lu, and Binh Tho took place on the morning of May 24. The benchmark scores for grade 6 of the three schools are as follows:

It is known that Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School has 1,236 candidates registered to take the 6th grade exam for the 2025-2026 school year. The enrollment target for 6th grade is 315 students (including at least 4 integrated English classes). Thus, the competition ratio is 1:3.92.

Hoa Lu Secondary School has 1,206 candidates registered for the 6th grade exam for the 2025-2026 school year. The enrollment target for 6th grade is 245 students (including at least 2 integrated English classes). Thus, the competition ratio is 1:4.92.

Binh Tho Secondary School has 1,094 candidates registered to take the 6th grade exam for the 2025-2026 school year. The enrollment target for 6th grade is 280 students (including at least 3 integrated English classes). Thus, the competition ratio is 1:3.9.

All candidates take a 90-minute aptitude test. Students admitted to grade 6 of the above 3 schools are those who complete the admission test completely, in accordance with regulations, and do not have a score of 0 on any test.

Based on the survey results, the 6th grade admissions board will consider from high to low until the quota is met, and according to criteria suitable for each school's model.

In case students have the same score, priority will be given in order: students with English certificates from high to low level, students completing the primary school program of a high-quality, advanced, internationally integrated school model.
