The cafe has a place for children, there is only a rope ladder for children to test their strength. A 7-year-old child brought his younger sibling to play, the older sister climbed up and slid down safely, the 5-year-old followed suit and fell, scratching his arms and legs because the ground was covered with gravel.

The child cried, the older sister was confused. When asked where the parents were, the child said that his parents were at work, and that they were on summer vacation so they came here to play. The shop is near the riverbank, and these days other parents bring their children here and dare not take their eyes off the children who like to go to the riverbank, and often run and jump, pushing each other.

Keeping children safe in the summer is a headache for parents. Not every family has an adult at home to look after the children. And even if they do, it can be tiring because of the children's restlessness.

Staying indoors all the time is not good, especially with so many temptations on computer screens, iPads and phones given to children to play with on their own.

There are not many outdoor play areas in the city. Cycling is unsafe on busy roads. Playing in parks and restaurants is not always suitable for children.

Summer is also the time when boys aged 10-14 often go cycling together. I ask permission to cycle to my friend's house and around the park... until my friend posts a "check-in" photo showing off his achievements, and my parents are shocked.

A group of 12-13 year old friends, each on a bike, rode their bikes on the highway, nearly 80km from home. We were shocked when our child returned home safely.

Children from the city returning to the countryside worry about safety from rivers, electricity, and falling from climbing. This is a concern even for children in the countryside, as they often go to dangerous places together. In case of an accident, children do not have enough skills to help each other or promptly report it to adults.

Teach children not to cause trouble in crowded places

We went to a birthday party for a relative. The atmosphere was cheerful and cozy. The space was a bit cramped, when the adults gave their best wishes to the host, the children ran around and knocked down the sound system and the cake was scattered all over the floor. The parents of the two children apologized profusely. The party atmosphere was somewhat ruined from then on.

Another time, we went to a wedding. The receptionist constantly warned us about the electric wires running along the stage and assigned people to keep an eye on them, very vigilant but still not enough to stop the children running around.

In the middle of the party, I saw a young mother still outside the hall and not joining the party, next to her was her preschooler child. It turned out that because she was worried that the child would run around and break something at the wedding party, she had proactively not joined the party...

I think that when going to a party with a lot of people, in a place with a lot of machines, electric wires... you should not bring children along. In a situation where you have to bring children along, adults must carefully instruct them, it is best to keep the children sitting next to you.
