From June 1, 2025, Social Insurance Region XVIII including 3 provinces of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Hoa Binh officially came into operation; Comrade Nguyen Duy Phuong - Director of Social Insurance of Vinh Phuc province was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Director of Social Insurance Region XVIII.

According to the Establishment Decision, the Social Insurance of Region XVIII operates under a new organizational structure with 8 functional departments and 29 district-level Social Insurance; headquartered at 394 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province. District-level Social Insurance will perform its duties and powers in the management area until the competent authority decides to rearrange it to suit the commune-level administrative unit.

Regarding personnel work, the Director of Vietnam Social Security decided to transfer and appoint officers to the positions of Deputy Director, Chief Accountant, Department Head, Deputy Department Head of Social Security Region XVIII.
Speaking at the direction and assignment, the representative of the Vietnam Social Security leadership congratulated the Social Security Region XVIII and the transferred and appointed officers. He suggested: In the coming time, the collective leadership, officers, civil servants and employees of the unit must quickly stabilize the organization, ensure effective and efficient operations after the process of arrangement and streamlining; promote the sense of responsibility, speed up the implementation of professional tasks in the last months of the year to ensure the set progress; at the same time, closely follow the locality, proactively advise and propose to local Party committees and authorities to implement solutions to ensure the rights and benefits of insurance policies for the people.
Speaking on receiving the new assignment, Director of Social Insurance Region XVIII Nguyen Duy Phuong sincerely thanked the leaders of Vietnam Social Insurance for entrusting him with the assignment; at the same time, he affirmed that this is both an honor and a great responsibility for him in carrying out the assigned duties and tasks. He pledged to make efforts, direct resolutely, and synchronously deploy professional solutions to successfully complete the unit's targets and tasks in the coming time, contributing to socio-economic development and ensuring social security goals in the area.
