Song Ba Ha Hydropower Union innovates for workers

The 5th Congress of Song Ba Ha Trade Union (2025-2030) sets out the goal: Innovation, solidarity, development for the interests of workers and the sustainability of the Company.

The Trade Union of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company (abbreviated as Song Ba Ha), Dak Lak province has just held the 5th Congress, term 2025 - 2030 in Dak Lak. The purpose of the Congress is to evaluate the results of the 4th term and set out the direction, goals and tasks for the new term.

Attending the Congress were Mr. Bui Van Thang, Chairman of the Trade Union of Power Generation Corporation 2 (EVNGENCO2). On the side of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company, there were Mr. Vu Huu Phuc, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Duc Phu, General Director; and Ms. Ta Thi Kim Hanh, Head of the Supervisory Board, along with the presence of more than 90 members of the Song Ba Ha Trade Union.

During the 2022 - 2025 term, Song Ba Ha Trade Union has continuously innovated its activities, focusing on performing well its representative function, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. The Union has closely coordinated with professionals in caring for the lives and welfare of union members, promptly supporting union members in difficulties, illness, and joy, while actively implementing social security activities. These efforts have contributed to consolidating and enhancing the position of the organization, making important contributions to the successful implementation of the Company's tasks.

The Congress discussed and agreed on the direction for the 2025-2030 term with the theme: "Innovation - democracy - solidarity - development; for the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers; for the sustainable development of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company."

The key objectives are: Ensuring union members have jobs and stable income; continuing to care for, protect the rights and improve the lives of workers; promoting emulation movements associated with production and business tasks and building a strong union organization, promoting its role as a bridge.

In his speech, Mr. Bui Van Thang, Chairman of EVNGENCO2 Trade Union, praised the efforts of the Trade Union Executive Committee and hoped that the new Executive Committee would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and creativity, strengthen coordination and cooperation with experts, proactively study legal regulations to propose provisions that are beneficial to workers and pay attention to the application of information technology.

On the Company's side, Mr. Vu Huu Phuc, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Song Ba Ha, requested the Executive Committee of the Trade Union to continue to promote its role and function of representing and taking care of the material and spiritual life of cadres and workers, researching and advising competent authorities on the best policies and regimes, and always listening to and understanding their thoughts and aspirations.

The Congress elected 5 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Company's Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.

On this occasion, EVNGENCO2 Trade Union presented 10 million VND to support and encourage Song Ba Ha workers to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 13.

With the spirit of "Innovation - Responsibility - Creativity - Efficiency", the Congress affirmed the will and determination of the collective of cadres, union members and workers in joining hands to build a strong Trade Union organization, excellently completing production and business tasks and actively contributing to the sustainable development of the Company.
