Inspection and supervision work contributes to building a clean and strong Party Committee of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Identifying inspection and supervision (KTGS) as a leadership method of the Party, holding a particularly important position in Party building work, in recent years, the Party Committee and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism have always paid attention to leading and directing the serious and synchronous implementation of the contents of KTGS and enforcing Party discipline in accordance with the provisions of the Party Charter. Thereby, contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations, strengthening solidarity, unity, maintaining Party discipline; having the effect of preventing and stopping the degradation of ideology, politics, ethics, and lifestyle of cadres and Party members, protecting the Party's viewpoints, guidelines, and policies, and the State's laws.

In order to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the work of Party discipline inspection and discipline, serve the political tasks, the work of building and rectifying a clean and strong Party, in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 4th Department Party Congress, right from the beginning of the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has focused on directing the thorough grasp and strict implementation of resolutions, directives, regulations, rules and instructions of the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc on inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline; especially the implementation of Resolution No. 04-NQ/DU dated November 2, 2021 of the Party Committee of the 7th Bloc on "Continuing to innovate, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Party's inspection and supervision work in the period 2021-2025".

On that basis, the Department Party Committee promptly issued the full-term and annual inspection and supervision program, ensuring practicality, comprehensiveness, focus and key points; focusing on areas prone to violations, issues of social concern and limited content at agencies and units. Regularly organize preliminary and final reviews, draw lessons; at the same time promptly advise and propose to competent authorities on supplementing, adjusting and perfecting regulations related to inspection and supervision work in the new situation.

With a determined and proactive spirit, during the 2021-2025 term, the Department Party Committee conducted 09 inspections (02 inspections of 02 party members and 07 inspections of 07 affiliated party cells); the Party Committee's Inspection Commission inspected 01 party cell; affiliated party cells inspected 17 inspections of 22 party members. Regarding supervision, the Party Committee supervised 05 inspections (02 inspections of 02 party members and 03 inspections of 03 affiliated party cells); the Inspection Commission supervised 04 inspections (01 inspection of 01 party member and 03 inspections of 03 party cells); party cells supervised 23 inspections of 38 party members. The content of the KTGS focuses on the implementation of the Party Charter, assigned tasks, the implementation of the Resolution of the 12th Central Committee, Session 4, on Party building and rectification in conjunction with Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on "Promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle".

Thanks to the good performance of inspection and supervision work, every year the Party Committee and Party Cells are assessed to have fulfilled their tasks well or better, in which in 2022 and 2023, the Party Committee was classified as having fulfilled its tasks excellently. Notably, during the entire term of the Party Committee, there were no complaints or denunciations related to the Party organization or Party members; no Party organization or Party member violated to the extent that disciplinary action was required. This is a testament to the spirit of solidarity, discipline and self-awareness of cadres and Party members in the entire Party Committee. Inspection and supervision work was carried out seriously and focused, contributing to raising awareness of compliance with the principles of organizing Party activities, promoting democracy, the spirit of self-criticism and criticism; Party committees and Party cells played a good role in setting examples, especially the team of leaders and key cadres, creating a spillover effect in performing tasks, maintaining moral qualities and lifestyles, and strengthening the trust of cadres and Party members in the Party's leadership.

The results achieved in the work of inspection, supervision and enforcement of party discipline have significantly contributed to maintaining discipline, strengthening internal solidarity and improving the leadership capacity of the party organization. During the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism continues to identify inspection and supervision work as one of the key and regular tasks; constantly innovate content and methods, improve the quality of inspection and supervision, contributing to building the Party Committee of the Department increasingly clean and strong, successfully completing assigned political tasks.
