Dong Nai Hydropower Company ensures safe power supply during the April 30 and May 1 holidays

Implementing the direction of Power Generation Corporation 1 in Document No. 651/EVNGENCO1-KTSX dated April 3, 2025 on ensuring power supply during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and April 30 and May 1 holidays in 2025. Dong Nai Hydropower Company has proactively deployed production and operation plans, ready to meet dispatch requirements from the National Electricity System and Market Operation Company (NSMO), ensuring safe power supply during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.

The company has reviewed, inspected, maintained, and repaired defects in the entire production line, prepared sufficient spare materials, arranged leadership, operating, repair, and technical personnel on duty 24/7 to serve the operation and repair of factories during the April 30 and May 1 holidays in 2025, ensuring that the units are ready to operate safely and continuously. At the same time, there is a material and spiritual compensation regime for the on-duty force during the holidays according to regulations.

In the first quarter of 2025, the Company produced 374.21 million kWh of electricity, reaching 102.1% of the quarterly plan and 27.17% of the 2025 plan. The shifts complied with the shift regime, consistently implementing the Company's leadership's instructions in the operation and production of electricity, ensuring safety for people and equipment during the production process. With the efforts of the Company's staff, the results of the operation of Dong Nai 3 and Dong Nai 4 Hydropower Plants ensured safety, creating a premise for the Company to continue to complete its tasks in the second quarter, especially during the upcoming holiday peak period.

To ensure stable operation during the holiday, the Company has checked the equipment status, prepared sufficient spare materials, ensured the highest reliability and availability to be ready to mobilize at the request of the national electricity system and market operator (NSMO) to ensure that the generators of Dong Nai 3 and Dong Nai 4 Hydropower Plants are maintained at a high state of readiness. Strict compliance with labor regulations, operating procedures, and production orders is a top priority. The communication system has a smooth transmission channel and SCADA, DIM, and hotline signals are stable, and incident drills are organized to ensure the fastest and most timely handling when incidents occur.

*Strengthening the implementation of technical management and operational management to ensure that generators are ready for safe and continuous operation.*

In addition, the Company has coordinated with localities to ensure water supply for daily life and agricultural production during the holidays and the dry season of 2025. In addition, the Company has also coordinated with relevant authorities and departments in developing and implementing plans to protect security, order, safety, and fire prevention for works and workplaces in the Company's area.
