La Vie Company Limited Accompanying the protection of water resources

La Vie Company Limited focuses on propaganda activities to protect water resources.

Protecting water resources, with special attention paid to water sources for production and daily life of local people, is a concern of the province. Among the solutions to protect water resources, the province has proposed many solutions such as preventing, limiting and preventing problems of surface water pollution; delimiting and announcing restricted areas for underground water exploitation; applying measures to manage, minimize and limit underground water exploitation. In addition, the province encourages organizations and individuals to prioritize the use of existing surface water sources for daily life and production.

In principle, water is an endless renewable resource provided it is managed responsibly and sustainably. As the first and only unit in Vietnam to be certified by the Alliance for Water Conservation (AWS) in 2019, up to now, after 4 years of implementation and maintenance, La Vie has always been one of the enterprises with a strong commitment to protecting water resources, accompanying water management, implementing community support programs, and protecting the water environment.

Headquartered in Long An , from 2022, La Vie Company Limited and Long An Water Supply and Sewerage Joint Stock Company - a clean water supplier for households and businesses in Tan An City, will implement the project (DA) to increase the surface water treatment capacity of Tan An Water Supply Plant from ^12,000m3 /day and night to ^16,800m3 /day and night using surface water from Bao Dinh River. This is a meaningful project, not only contributing to the protection of water resources but also an effective project, supporting many households to have clean water to use, accelerating the process of converting water sources from groundwater to surface water in the water supply. In 2023 alone, the project will generate 1,521,897m3 ^of water to supply the community.

In addition, La Vie Company Limited has also actively contributed to propaganda programs on water environment protection. In particular, with the view that water environment protection is everyone's responsibility, the unit has maintained propaganda for employees and students of Long An University of Industry and Economics in the spirit that the more people understand and join hands, the more successful the protection of water environment will be.

With its efforts, La Vie Company Limited has been honored by the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development as one of the 100 sustainable enterprises in Vietnam for 5 consecutive years (from 2019 to 2023). This is a great source of encouragement for La Vie to continue its efforts, making more meaningful contributions to the community and locality in many fields, contributing to sustainable socio-economic and environmental development./.

In parallel with the AWS water management program, La Vie Co., Ltd. is implementing a roadmap to reduce and aim for no longer having an impact on the environment from product packaging. The Company's goal by 2025 is that all packaging materials for products sold on the market can be recycled or reused.
