Beyoncé wrapped up the final night of her 32-show Cowboy Carter Tour on the evening of July 26 (local time). According to Billboard Boxscore, the tour grossed $407.6 million and sold 1.6 million tickets, officially becoming the highest-grossing country music tour in history.
The Bold Move From R&B to Country
The Cowboy Carter Tour follows the success of the previous Renaissance World Tour - a tour that broke the R&B genre revenue record with $579.8 million in 2023. With a country-influenced song list, Beyoncé made a bold move from R&B to country music.
Notably, Beyoncé became the first female artist and also the first American artist (regardless of gender or solo/group performance) to have two tours with revenue exceeding the $400 million mark. This achievement puts her on par with famous names such as Coldplay, The Rolling Stones and Ed Sheeran.

While the Renaissance World Tour took place in 39 cities with a total of 56 shows across North America and Europe, the Cowboy Carter Tour chose a different strategy: taking place in only 9 cities with 32 shows, but focusing heavily on the highest-grossing stops from the previous tour.
The 32-time Grammy winner performed four consecutive nights in Atlanta, five in Los Angeles and New York, and six in London, a rarity for a stadium tour, setting or tying a sellout record at all nine venues.
This tour is to promote Cowboy Carter - the album that marks Beyoncé's transition to country music, after she conquered dance music with Renaissance .

Both albums peaked at number one on the Billboard 200, their lead singles topped the Billboard Hot 100, and they earned Grammys for Best Dance/Electronic Album (2023) and Best Country Album (2025), respectively. Cowboy Carter also won Album of the Year, bringing Beyoncé's total Grammys to 35, the most of all time.
Beyoncé is now one of the top 10 highest-grossing artists in Billboard Boxscore history, and holds the No. 1 spot among black artists and R&B artists.

Destiny's Child unexpectedly reunites
Beyoncé didn't let her Cowboy Carter tour end quietly without giving the audience an explosive reunion: Destiny's Child returned to the stage.
The audience at the final show in Las Vegas exploded when Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland unexpectedly appeared with Beyoncé, performing a series of hits by the legendary girl group.

This is a rare reunion for the three members since their performance at Coachella 2018 - which was also the last time they shared the stage together. Destiny's Child officially went on hiatus after their 2005 tour, and have only occasionally reunited for special occasions since then.
In particular, the passionate comeback of the hit Bootylicious (2001) made the whole audience explode. Beyoncé did not spend much time introducing the group's comeback, simply shouting: "Destiny's Child, bitch" - enough to make the audience explode.
