People of Muong Voi street, Vu Ban town (Lac Son) vote to express their opinions on the arrangement of administrative units at provincial and commune levels.
In the morning alone, 2,550 voters representing households in Vu Ban town were present at the cultural houses of Muong Voi, Huu Nghi, Thong Nhat streets... to express their opinions on the arrangement of administrative units at the provincial and communal levels. Ms. Pham Thi Thuy, Head of Huu Nghi Street, said: Before implementing the collection of opinions, we had propagated and mobilized the people in many forms; publicly posted maps, plans, projects for the arrangement of administrative units and lists of voters representing households to collect opinions at the cultural house. 100% of voters expressed their opinions on the plan to establish Phu Tho province on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of the three current provinces of Vinh Phuc, Hoa Binh and Phu Tho; the plan to establish Lac Son commune on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Vu Ban town, Huong Nhuong and Vu Binh communes. As a result, 2,544 voters agreed, reaching 99.8%; 6 voters disagreed, representing 0.2%.
Mr. Bui Van Bien, An Nghia commune expressed: Through the mass media and propaganda of the local government, we understand and support the policy of arranging administrative units at the provincial and commune levels. For An Nghia commune, according to the arrangement plan, it will be merged with Yen Nghiep and Tan My communes to form Dai Dong commune. Previously, the 3 communes were associated with the place name of Dai Dong region, so I think the name is suitable and retains its identity.
According to the summary of the results of the public consultation on the arrangement of provincial and commune-level administrative units in the entire district, 34,575 voters representing households agreed with the plan to establish Phu Tho province, accounting for 99.3%. Regarding the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units, the district has 8 new administrative units, including the communes of Lac Son, Muong Vang, Dai Dong, Ngoc Son, Nhan Nghia, Quyet Thang, Thuong Coc, Yen Phu. As a result, many communes achieved a rate of 100% of voters agreeing, the place with the lowest rate was 96.1%.
Comrade Bui Van Linh, Chairman of Lac Son District People's Committee, said: The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has issued a Decision to establish a working group to inspect, supervise, monitor and direct the implementation of Resolution No. 74/NQ-CP dated April 7, 2025 of the Government on the arrangement of administrative units and the construction of a 2-level local government organization model. Agencies, units, People's Committees of communes and towns shall step up propaganda, dissemination and implementation of policies on the arrangement of administrative units; propagate and publicize projects and plans for the arrangement of administrative units in appropriate forms, such as posting on the electronic information pages of the District People's Committee and the People's Committees of communes and towns; post maps, plans, projects and lists of voters representing households for comments at the headquarters of the People's Committees of communes and towns and cultural houses of hamlets and streets; Announcements on the district and commune-level broadcasting systems... The district has organized conferences of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the District Party Executive Committee and the District Party Executive Committee to extend to communes, towns, party cell secretaries, hamlet and street heads to disseminate and thoroughly understand the content of the plan and project for arranging administrative units and the content and form of organizing to collect opinions from voters representing households to unify the implementation.
Immediately after completing the voter consultation, the District People's Committee instructed the People's Committees of communes and towns to submit to the People's Councils of the same level to approve the policy and issue a resolution on the arrangement of administrative units at the provincial and communal levels in the area. As a result, 100% of the People's Councils at the communal level in the area approved this policy.
